Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 25 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Bond Electrics Ltd website and the provision of electrical services by Bond Electrics Ltd.

1. Company Information

Bond Electrics Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales.

Company Name: Bond Electrics Ltd

Company Registration Number: 12445825

Registered Office: Flat 43 Norbiton Hall, London Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, KT2 6RB

Website: https://bondelectrics.co.uk

Telephone: 07938 008 007

2. Services

Bond Electrics Ltd provides electrical installation, maintenance, repair, inspection and related electrical services.

The precise scope of work will depend on the quotation, estimate, written agreement or other arrangement made with the customer. Bond Electrics Ltd reserves the right to decline work where it considers that the requested work is unsafe, unsuitable, outside its area of expertise, or otherwise inappropriate.

3. Quotations and Estimates

Where a quotation is provided, it will describe the proposed works and the applicable price or pricing basis.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a quotation is based on the information reasonably available to Bond Electrics Ltd at the time it is prepared.

Additional work may be chargeable where unforeseen circumstances, concealed defects, changes requested by the customer, or work outside the agreed scope are identified.

Unless otherwise specified, quotations are subject to acceptance within the period stated on the quotation.

4. Prices and Payment

The customer agrees to pay the price agreed for the services, together with any additional charges properly incurred in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • payment is due in accordance with the invoice issued by Bond Electrics Ltd;
  • additional works requested by the customer may be charged separately;
  • materials or specialist equipment required outside the original scope may incur additional charges; and
  • the customer is responsible for providing accurate information relevant to the works.

Where payment is overdue, Bond Electrics Ltd reserves the right to suspend further work until outstanding amounts have been paid.

5. Additional and Unforeseen Work

Electrical work can sometimes reveal defects, unsafe installations or other conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before work commenced.

Where additional work is required, Bond Electrics Ltd will, where reasonably practicable, explain the issue and any additional cost before proceeding. In an emergency or where immediate action is reasonably necessary to make an installation safe, Bond Electrics Ltd may carry out essential remedial work without prior approval where obtaining approval would create an unreasonable delay or safety risk.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • provide safe and reasonable access to the property and areas where work is required;
  • provide accurate information about the electrical installation and any known defects;
  • obtain any permissions, consents or approvals that are the customer's responsibility;
  • ensure that valuable or fragile possessions are appropriately protected or removed from working areas; and
  • promptly notify Bond Electrics Ltd of any relevant changes or concerns.

The customer must not interfere with, alter or attempt to repair work carried out by Bond Electrics Ltd while the work is being undertaken or where doing so could affect its safety or performance.

7. Access and Delays

Bond Electrics Ltd will use reasonable efforts to attend appointments and complete works within agreed timescales.

However, estimated dates and times may be affected by circumstances outside the company's reasonable control, including delays in obtaining materials, access issues, adverse conditions, emergencies, discovery of unforeseen defects, or delays caused by other contractors.

Where the customer is unable to provide access at the agreed time, a further appointment may need to be arranged and additional charges may apply where reasonably incurred.

8. Electrical Safety

Electrical work will be carried out with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable legal and technical requirements relevant to the work being undertaken.

Where an existing installation is found to be unsafe or defective, Bond Electrics Ltd may recommend remedial work. The company will not be responsible for defects or unsafe conditions that existed before its work commenced unless such responsibility arises from the company's own acts or omissions.

Where a customer declines recommended safety or remedial work, Bond Electrics Ltd may refuse to continue with affected work where it considers it unsafe or inappropriate to do so.

9. Certificates and Documentation

Where applicable to the work undertaken, Bond Electrics Ltd will provide relevant electrical certificates, reports or other documentation in accordance with the requirements applicable to the particular service.

The type of certificate or documentation provided will depend on the nature and scope of the work and will be given once payment has been made for such services.

10. Materials

Unless otherwise agreed, Bond Electrics Ltd will select materials and components that are reasonably suitable for the agreed work.

Where a specific product or material is requested by the customer, Bond Electrics Ltd cannot be responsible for defects or performance issues arising solely from the customer's specified choice, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Materials remain subject to availability, and reasonable substitutions may be proposed where an agreed product is unavailable.

11. Guarantee and Defective Work

Bond Electrics Ltd aims to provide services to a professional standard.

Where work carried out by Bond Electrics Ltd is found to be defective due to a failure to exercise reasonable care and skill, the company will, where appropriate, have the opportunity to inspect and rectify the relevant work.

Any specific workmanship guarantee or manufacturer's warranty applying to particular work or materials will be subject to the terms of that guarantee or warranty.

A guarantee does not normally cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised alterations, normal wear and tear, third-party work, or defects in an existing installation.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any rights that a consumer has under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Where the customer is a consumer, statutory rights relating to the quality, performance and provision of services will continue to apply.

Where applicable, consumers may also have cancellation rights in relation to contracts entered into at a distance or away from the company's business premises. Any such rights, including applicable exceptions for urgent repairs or services requested to be carried out during a cancellation period, will be dealt with in accordance with applicable law.

13. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

Where a customer cancels at short notice or fails to provide access, Bond Electrics Ltd reserves the right to recover reasonable costs actually incurred as a result, where permitted by law and any applicable agreement.

Where statutory cancellation rights apply, those rights will take precedence over any conflicting provision of these Terms and Conditions.

14. Liability

Bond Electrics Ltd will carry out its services with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, Bond Electrics Ltd will not be liable for losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control or by defects, alterations or work carried out by third parties or existing conditions that were not caused by Bond Electrics Ltd.

For consumers, nothing in this section affects statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Complaints

Bond Electrics Ltd aims to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.

If you have a concern regarding the service provided, please contact Bond Electrics Ltd on 07938 008 007 and provide details of the issue, including the relevant invoice, quotation or appointment information where available.

Bond Electrics Ltd will review the complaint and, where appropriate, arrange an inspection or propose a suitable resolution.

Website content must not be reproduced, copied, distributed or commercially exploited without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

18. Privacy

Bond Electrics Ltd may collect and process personal information when customers contact the company, request a quotation, arrange services or otherwise use the website.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the company's Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to These Terms

Bond Electrics Ltd may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be made available on the website and will apply to future use of the website and, where appropriate, future services.

The terms applicable to an individual project will be those agreed with the customer at the relevant time, subject to any applicable statutory rights.

20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights or protections available to consumers under applicable law.
